Privacy Policy
This policy explains how Quinyves Clothes Limited (“Quinyves Clothes”, “we”) collects and uses personal data on quinyves.shop, in line with the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance (Cap. 486) (“PDPO”).
1. Personal data we collect
- Identity and contact: full name, email, phone, and the invoice field used only for the invoice;
- Delivery: floor or unit, building name, street, district and region in Hong Kong;
- Browsing: pages viewed, time, device type and IP address, collected automatically;
- Preference: basket contents stored in your browser (localStorage key quinyvesCart).
2. Purposes of use
- To process orders, issue invoices and talk about delivery;
- To reduce fraud and confirm Faster Payment System, card or bank transfer;
- To answer the contact form;
- To send product updates and promotional notices by email or SMS/RCS, only with your consent (you may reply STOP);
- To keep the site stable and secure.
3. PDPO data protection principles
We collect data for lawful purposes directly related to our Hong Kong retail, and only as much as is necessary. We take practicable steps to keep data accurate, held no longer than needed, secure, and used in ways you would reasonably expect. Direct marketing follows the PDPO rules on consent and opt-out.
4. Sharing
We do not sell personal data. We share only what is needed with couriers, payment processors, and public authorities when the law requires it. If data is transferred outside Hong Kong, we take steps comparable to the PDPO so far as practicable.
5. Cookies and local storage
We use cookies and localStorage to remember the basket and to measure basic use of the site. You may block cookies in the browser; some functions may then fail.
6. Retention and security
We use HTTPS and limited staff access. We keep data only for the purpose or for a legal duty (for example, invoices and accounting records under Hong Kong tax rules).
7. Your rights
Under the PDPO you may request access to and correction of personal data we hold. You may also ask us to stop using your data for direct marketing. Write to business@quinyves.shop or call +85257391842. You may complain to the Privacy Commissioner for Personal Data (PCPD) in Hong Kong.
